A mod in a 40k member gaming forum wiped my post about a city council vote, and his reason made me pause
He wrote back that he removed it because "politics isn't what this place is for," and I get it, people want a break from arguing, but the post was just a link to a livestream of our own town's budget meeting, so where's the line between keeping a space chill and quietly deciding what 40,000 people are allowed to see?
Seems like the real problem is that a mod gets to decide what 40k people see with zero pushback, and nobody voted for that guy. Kind of funny how the rule is "no politics" until something affects the mod's own backyard, then it's just housekeeping.
