I finally listened to my friend who said to never appeal a content removal on that one platform
He argued the appeal process just flags you for more scrutiny, and after my third video about a protest in Atlanta got taken down, I tried it. Sure enough, my entire channel got a 'strike' the next day, which seems like punishing the appeal itself. Has anyone else seen this kind of escalation for simply using the official appeal button?

Yeah, that tracks. The appeal button isn't for getting a fair review, it's for giving them an easy way to find and punish people who complain. It's a trap. Your friend gave you solid advice, the system is totally broken. They just want you to shut up and take it.

So you actually get punished for asking them to look again? I always figured the appeal button was there to fix mistakes. Hearing your story makes it seem like they just want to delete stuff and move on without any pushback. That really changes how I see the whole system. It's not about being fair at all, it's about making problems go away quietly.
