Platform X hides my post but lets hate speech slide, anyone else see this gap?

I had a 200 word post about a local election in Portland flagged for 'misinformation' in 2 hours, but a thread calling for doxxing a journalist stayed up for 3 days. Isn't the enforcement just as bad as the silence, or am I missing something about their guidelines?

Enforcement is just as bad as the silence", that line hits close to home. I read a piece last week about how these platforms use different rules for different types of content, and it basically comes down to what gets reported the most, not what's actually harmful. So yeah, a small post about a local race gets flagged fast, but a slur-filled thread with lots of followers takes days to get looked at. It's a broken system, but I don't think it's some big conspiracy, more like lazy automation and overloaded moderators.

Hear me out, but I think you're giving the platforms too much credit. Sure, lazy automation is part of it, but the reporting bias is the whole point. They tune the system to catch small accounts because that's easy PR wins. Big accounts bring in ad money and clout, so nobody touches them. That's not a broken system, that's a smart business move. The overloaded moderators are just the excuse they hide behind.
