Trying to share a video from a protest in Berlin got my account flagged for a week
I posted a short clip from a public rally last month, just people holding signs, and it got taken down instantly for 'harmful content'. I mean, it took me like 5 days of back and forth with the platform's support, sending links to their own rules, before they finally put it back up. It wasn't even graphic, just a crowd. Has anyone else had to fight this hard just to post basic news footage?

Honestly, their idea of 'harmful content' is a joke. My cousin got a warning for posting a video of a calm street protest with birds chirping in the background. Took them a week to admit it was a mistake, and their only reply was a copy-pasted apology. Feels like the bots are just looking for any crowd scene to freak out over.

Platforms have to err on the side of caution with protest footage. That clip could have been taken out of a bigger violent event or used to spread false info. Their automated systems are blunt tools, but they're trying to stop real harmful stuff before it spreads. You getting your video back after a review shows the system works, even if it's slow.
