Vent: my kid's school blocked a book review site and the librarian gave me the appeal form
Last Tuesday at Lincoln Middle in Boise, the librarian handed me a 2 page form and said appeals usually die in committee, so now I'm wondering if anyone here has actually won one of these at a public school.

Wait, what book review site did they block? That part matters a ton because if it was just like Goodreads or something for a class assignment, that's way different than them blocking a site your kid actually needs for research. Also did the librarian tell you why it got flagged in the first place, like was it a filter thing or did someone actually complain? I'd want to know who sits on that committee before I even bother filling out the form.
