Watched a whole livestream get pulled for showing a protest sign
It was a city council feed from Portland last week, and the stream cut out the second someone held up a sign about police funding. Came back a minute later with that section edited out. Makes you wonder who's running the mute button on public meetings. Has a local channel done this where you are?

Agree to disagree on this one. That glitch happened at the exact second the sign came up, and the stream came back right when the sign went down. You're telling me old equipment has that kind of perfect timing? I've watched those streams glitch plenty, but it's usually a whole minute of buffering or a frozen screen, not a surgical cut around one specific moment. Funny how the "tech issues" always seem to hit the inconvenient topics, but never during the reading of new garbage truck routes.

Wow, that's wild! Our local school board stream froze once when a parent started yelling about budget cuts. Total "technical difficulty" right on cue.

Wait, you think that was on purpose? Those public meeting streams are always running on old gear and cheap internet. I've seen them glitch out during totally boring parts too, like when they're just reading the minutes from last month. Sometimes the tech just sucks.
