My email list hit 1,000 subs last Tuesday and the open rate is what actually shocked me
Started a simple weekly newsletter for my neighborhood market updates back in January and crossed 1,000 subscribers this week. I figured open rates would sit around 15% like most stuff I see online, but it's been holding at 42% for the last two months. Turns out people actually read local stuff when it's short and doesn't feel like a sales pitch. Curious what open rates other folks are seeing with small niche lists, is 40%+ normal or am I just lucky with this crowd?
