Debate: Coworking spaces vs regular cafes for getting work done
I was reading a Nomad List report last week. Said 68% of remote workers prefer coworking spaces over cafes for focus. But cafes are free and have better coffee. I've tried both in Chiang Mai and honestly my productivity tanks in cafes after an hour. Anyone find coworking spaces worth the $150 a month tag?

Honestly the free coffee at cafes has a hidden cost - you end up buying three pastries just to justify parking at a table for four hours. Tried coworking in Chiang Mai myself and $150 a month felt steep until I realized I was spending $8 a day on iced lattes anyway. Plus you don't get the death glare from the barista when you camp out during their lunch rush.

Wait, does the death glare factor into my budgeting too? In my experience, the barista's look of disappointment is what finally made me break down and buy a muffin I didn't even want.
