Dropped $500 on a portable monitor and it was a total waste

I thought a second screen would make me so productive in coffee shops and hostels, but this thing just flickers every time I breathe near it. Has anyone actually found a portable monitor that doesn't feel like a scam?

Bruh $500 on a portable monitor? Thats insane. I would be fuming if mine flickered that much for that price. You basically paid for a fancy paperweight that might as well be a stress test for your sanity. Honestly most of those things are just cheap panels in a thin case anyway. Ive seen people rave about the small 1080p ones from random brands but flickering on contact is a whole different level of junk.
