Fighting visa paperwork from a hostel in Medellin vs paying $400 for a lawyer, and I feel dumb for waiting 3 weeks to decide
If I had just paid my immigration lawyer at home the $400 three weeks ago instead of trying to sort out my Colombia visa extension myself from a noisy hostel in Medellin, I would have saved 14 hours of Spanish forms and probably kept my sanity, so why do we all treat paying for help like some kind of nomad failure?
