Finally hit my first full month working from a different country

Last month I packed up my laptop and took off to Medellin for 30 days. I had been dreaming about this for 3 years but always found excuses not to go. Well I did it and managed to keep my pest control scheduling business going the whole time using just my phone and a hotspot. The wifi was spotty at the hostel but I figured out the coffee shop three blocks away had fiber. Has anyone else found a solid city in South America for digital work?

3 years of dreaming and you finally pulled the trigger. Mad respect for that man. I spent 2 months in Buenos Aires last year and the fiber optic was legit everywhere. Even my Airbnb in a kinda sketchy neighborhood had 100mbps down. Also their peso situation makes everything dirt cheap right now for anyone earning dollars. If you go there skip the tourist spots in Palermo and look at places in Almagro or Villa Crespo. You get way more space for half the price and the cafes are full of other remote workers typing away.

@aaron896 actually it's 300mbps not 100 in most places there lol
