Got kicked out of a co-working space in Bali for taking phone calls
I was working out of this spot in Ubud for like 3 weeks, thought I had the routine down. took a quick call from my supplier about a delivery issue, kept my voice low, but the owner came over and told me I had to leave. turns out they had a strict no-calls policy in the main room that I totally missed in the fine print. has anyone else run into weird rules like that at co-working spots?

Started asking upfront about their call policy before paying. Found a spot in Ubud that had a little outdoor booth area for calls, worked perfect for me.

That 3 week thing is exactly what happened to me at a spot in Chiang Mai last year. I used to think co-working spaces were pretty chill about calls if you kept it quiet, but getting asked to leave over a 2 minute conversation changed my mind real quick. Now I always check the rules twice before I even sit down.
