Hotel wifi in Medellin crashed during a client presentation and I actually fixed it myself

Oh man, that brings back memories! I had a similar thing happen at a hotel in Cartagena last year during a video call with a client. I found the router in the hallway closet, held the reset button with a pen until it blinked, and somehow got it back up. Felt like a wizard for a solid 10 minutes until the front desk called asking what I did.

Tried that once in a hotel in Bogota, ended up resetting the router for the whole floor and got yelled at in Spanish by a guy in a bathrobe. Guess my IT skills only work when nobody's watching. At least you got to be the hero instead of the guy who accidentally killed the wifi for 30 rooms.
