Rant: Coworking spaces vs coffee shops for work - I keep going back and forth
So I've been a digital nomad for about 3 years now. Last month I was in Medellin and tried a new coworking space for $150 a month. Fast wifi, free coffee, quiet rooms. It was great but I felt kinda isolated after a few days. Then last week I switched back to coffee shops - spent maybe $40 on drinks but got to be around people. The problem is I got zero work done with all the noise. Now I'm back at the coworking spot but thinking about trying a library or something. Anyone else bounce between these two and find a good middle ground?

...so you're basically just paying to be indecisive at this point, huh? $150 for isolation or $40 for chaos, sounds like you're just swapping one kind of headache for another. I always figured the ideal setup was just grabbing a table at a library, you know, free silence and you can still people-watch without any of the guilt. But hey, at least you're getting great stories out of this, right? Coffee shop or coworking, you're still just one spilled latte away from a breakdown.

Ryan, the library's WiFi always craps out right when your coffee hits the keyboard.
