Remember when you needed a physical SIM card for each new country?
I used to carry a little plastic case with 5 different SIMs from places like Thailand and Portugal, but after getting a global eSIM plan in 2022, my entire connectivity strategy fits in an app on my phone.

Yeah, that little case was a nightmare. I just tell people to get a cheap local eSIM for data and keep their main SIM for calls, works way better.

Dude I swear I've lost more SIM cards by trying to pop them out of those trays than I've actually used for roaming. One time I flicked my SIM across the airport terminal and had to crawl under a seat to find it. The dual eSIM thing is the real pro tip, keeps you from looking like a total goofball fumbling with paperclips.
