Thought coworking was a scam until Ubud, now I get it

I spent 2 years working from cafes and hostels in places like Lisbon and Bangkok, figured paying $150 a month for a desk was just a tourist tax. Then I tried Outpost in Ubud for 2 weeks because my back was wrecked from slouching on bar stools, and the fiber internet plus a real chair made me finish 3 client projects faster than I had all year. Anyone else find that the social side, not the desk, is what actually makes coworking worth it?
