Took me 6 months to admit I work better with a fixed desk somewhere

I was in Chiang Mai last spring, fully remote, bouncing between cafes and a co-working spot that changed desks daily. Then I overheard this guy at a hostel say 'nomad life is just moving your office to a new chair' and it hit me. So I rented the same corner in that co-working place for 8 weeks straight, same seat, same power outlet, and my output doubled without me trying. Has anyone else given up the constant movement for a boring routine spot, or am I missing the whole point of this lifestyle?

Heck yeah, I read some study saying our brains waste energy just deciding where to sit, so locking it in makes total sense!
