Update: Airport Wi-Fi used to be my biggest travel headache
Back then, I'd waste hours trying to get online during layovers. Nowadays, it's so much better that I can actually get work done. Have you found other nomad pains that have eased up over time?

Remember trying to connect ten years ago. You had to hunt for a voucher code, enter your email on a broken payment page, and wait for a login link that never arrived. I'd just give up and buy a coffee for the password instead. The shift to one-click free access feels like a small miracle now.

My friend was just telling me about a study that said the average airport wifi speed has tripled in the last five years. It used to be you couldn't even load a basic email, and now I can stream a whole show on a layover. I wonder if the real change was airports finally seeing wifi as a basic need, like clean bathrooms. What took them so long to figure that out?
