Wifi reliability from a hostel vs. a co-working space... I'm split

Been bouncing between a hostel in Medellin and a paid co-working spot nearby for about 3 weeks now. The hostel wifi drops every 40 minutes like clockwork, but the co-working place costs $12 a day and has stable fiber. On one hand, the savings from the hostel let me travel longer, but on the other, I lost a Zoom client to a dropped call last week. Which side do you lean for balancing budget and work quality?

My friend lost a client in Thailand over hostel wifi and had to fly home a month early.

Wow, that's rough. I actually just read something about how risky hostel wifi can be for remote workers. Some security researcher said public networks like that are super easy to hack into because they don't have good encryption. Your friend must have lost all their client work or had their accounts stolen or something. It's crazy how one bad wifi connection can mess up your whole trip. I always use a VPN now after hearing stories like that, even if it slows things down a bit. Hope your friend didn't lose too much money from having to fly back early.
