Tried a coworking pass for a month and ended up spending more on overpriced snacks than the actual desk fee. The wifi kept cutting out during calls and people had loud zoom meetings right next to the quiet zone. Honestly felt like paying to sit in a crowded cafeteria but with worse coffee.

Saw a video last week where someone broke down the math. A basic coworking pass near me costs $299 a month but a 24 hour fitness membership is $40 and has a desk area. The coworking spot charges for coffee too which feels wild when you already paid $300. Read a thread where people said their offices figured out the hybrid thing so nobody needs passes anymore. Makes you wonder if the whole coworking boom was just a temporary fad.
