DAE remember when every track was 10 minutes shorter and nobody cared?
I was digging through my old project files from 2018 and found 14 tracks that all clocked in around 7 minutes because I was scared of cutting things, then played my new stuff at a bar in San Salvador last weekend and realized the 3 minute versions hit way harder, so now I'm wondering if anyone else went through this same thing or if it was just me being stubborn.

Oh sure, because nothing says "banger" like making people stand there for 7 minutes waiting for the drop that never comes. I did the same thing back in the day, thought every layer was precious until I watched a crowd start checking their phones halfway through a set. Turns out the crowd was right and my ego was just loud.
