Hit 1,000 plays on my track 'D11-04' last night and it felt unreal

I've been producing from my bedroom in San Salvador for about 6 months now and my album just crossed 1,000 plays on SoundCloud. That number surprised me because I only shared it with a few local DJ friends at first. Has anyone else here hit a milestone that felt way bigger than you expected?

Ha, congrats! I know the feeling. My first track got 18 plays and I was pretty sure 17 of them were me refreshing the page.

Definitely. People act like 500 streams means you're on to something. Man, that's barely a single open mic night crowd. If you're refreshing your own page, that's not a career, that's a hobby with a wifi connection.
