Spliced in a kick drum sample at 2am and blew out my monitor, now I'm mixing on headphones in San Salvador
Was finishing the last track for D11-04 and pushed the master bus way too hot on a kick layer. My left speaker popped and died right there, so the whole final mix got done on $40 earbuds at 3am. Anyone got a decent pair of studio monitors under $300 or am I just stuck in headphone world for the tour?
