Swapped from Ableton to FL Studio for my last EP and it changed everything

I used to build all my tracks in Ableton because that's what I learned on back in 2019. Did my whole first album 'D11-04' in it and it worked fine. But around February this year I hit a wall with the arrangement view, felt like I was fighting the software to get ideas down fast. A buddy in San Salvador showed me how he does beat programming in FL Studio and I gave it a shot. Now I lay out drum patterns way quicker and the step sequencer just clicks with my workflow. Took me about 3 weeks to get comfortable with the playlist and mixer routing. Anyone else switch DAWs mid career and feel the difference in production speed?

My mate tried switching to Logic and gave up after two days because the shortcuts drove him crazy.

The shortcuts thing is brutal... my friend Sarah tried switching last year and ended up rage-quitting mid-project. She kept hitting Cmd+W to close a track and it kept closing the whole window instead. Spent an hour trying to figure out how to just delete a region, finally threw her hands up and went back to Ableton.
