Threw $120 into a sample pack that half the sounds were already royalty free
I bought this 'exclusive' Latin house sample pack from some rando on Reddit. Paid $120 thinking I'd get unique kicks and loops for my new track. After a week of digging, I found the exact same 'one shot' clap on a free Splice pack from 2019. Shoulda just spent that money on a month of Splice Unlimited and actually curated my own sounds. Has anyone else gotten burned by those 'boutique' sample packs that are just repackaged free stuff?

Always check the samples against your existing library before buying.
