Am I the only one who thought caulking was a one and done thing until I saw water stains on my ceiling in Tucson?
Spent $200 on new caulk and re-did my tub surround, but now I'm hearing that you should replace it every year. Do you really do that, or is it just a scam to sell more caulk?
Wait, every YEAR? I redid my whole tub surround two years ago and just assumed I was set for life. The old caulk lasted like a decade before it started peeling, so hearing "every year" makes me feel like I've been living under a rock. The water stains on your ceiling are the scary part, that means it got behind the wall for who knows how long. Guess I should go poke at my shower seams this weekend and see if anything feels soft.
