My $400 bathroom vanity is now a lesson in measuring twice

I cut the countertop for the plumbing before confirming the sink's exact dimensions, so now the faucet holes are off by an inch. Anyone have a creative fix for misaligned faucet holes in quartz?

Ever try to fix something and just make it way worse? I mean, I once tried to patch a small hole in drywall and ended up having to redo the whole wall.

Oh man, @lopez.brooke, that's the worst feeling. I tried to fix a wobbly ceiling fan once and somehow ripped the whole mounting bracket out of the ceiling. Had a hole with wires hanging down for a week before I got brave enough to touch it again. It's like the house knows when you're in over your head and just decides to fall apart on you. I should have just lived with the wobble.
