Painted my bathroom without checking the drywall first... big mistake

Found out at my local hardware store in Cleveland that 90% of bathroom moisture problems come from using wrong paint. I just slapped on regular flat paint like an idiot. Now I got peeling spots near the shower after only 3 months. Anyone else find out the hard way about bathroom paint ratings?

Seriously though, cutting corners on paint is basically signing up for a full repaint job down the road. Could've saved myself a weekend of work if I'd just spent the extra few bucks on the right stuff from the start. Hard to learn that lesson until you're staring at peeling spots in the corner.
