Tbh, I'm debating using reclaimed bricks for my garden path versus new pavers. Reclaimed cuts waste, but new ones are uniform. What would you do?

Nah, I'd go new pavers every time. Reclaimed bricks sound cool but they're a pain. You get weird sizes and they're never flat, so your path ends up lumpy. Plus, all those uneven gaps are just weed hotels. I'd take clean and level over "character" that makes you trip.

But come on, @oscar_fox, is it really that big of a deal? Reclaimed bricks might not be perfect, but that's what makes them interesting. A few bumps and gaps add more character than those boring new pavers ever could. Weeds are just a fact of life with any outdoor space, not a crisis. You make it sound like building a path is rocket science instead of just putting down some bricks. Honestly, a little imperfection never hurt anyone.

My last reclaimed brick project looked like a toddler laid it, so I'm with @oscar_fox on the clean lines.
