That fancy caulk gun I laughed at is actually worth it

My dad gave me a $35 caulk gun for Christmas two years ago. I told him it was a waste of money. After fighting with a $3 gun on my kitchen backsplash in Tulsa, I finally tried his fancy one. The smooth trigger and no-drip feature made my tile job look like a pro did it. Anybody else stubborn about upgrading basic tools?
