TIL a trick for faster paint drying in sticky weather

I was repainting my kitchen cabinets last summer, and the high humidity kept the paint tacky for days. I put a box fan and a small dehumidifier in the room overnight, and it was dry by morning. How do you handle projects that drag on because of drying times?

My kitchen remodel last year had the same issue with humidity. @jake157, waiting isn't always an option when you're living in the mess.

Really? Who has a dehumidifier just sitting around for a paint job? A couple extra days of waiting never hurt anyone, so why not just let it dry on its own time? Feels like buying a gadget to solve a problem that fixes itself.
