6 months into tiling my bathroom floor before I realized the pattern was upside down
My buddy came over and asked why the tile pattern looked like it was pointing to the ceiling, then I looked at the box and realized I had been installing them wrong the whole time. Has anyone else made a silly mistake that took way too long to notice?

ok but like... is it REALLY that big of a deal though? i mean unless the pattern is super obvious and directional, nobody is gonna notice except you. and your buddy who pointed it out i guess. but honestly most tile patterns just look like a pattern, upside down or not. its not like you installed them backwards and now theyre gonna fall off the wall or something. you probably spent way more time being upset about it than the actual visual difference matters. just tell people its a modern artistic choice and move on.
