My neighbor's tip about painting trim with a foam roller was a game changer

My neighbor Bob kept telling me to ditch the brush for foam rollers on baseboards. I thought he was crazy because I always used those expensive angled brushes. Finally tried it on my living room trim last weekend and wow, no brush marks at all and it cut my time in half. Has anyone else tried this trick or am I late to the party?

Funny how the best advice usually comes from someone who's already been through the trial and error themselves. Makes you wonder how many other simple tricks we're all missing out on.

Three years of jagged trim lines and I finally Google it. The foam roller trick works so well my baseboards actually look like a professional did them instead of a raccoon with a hangover. Bob definitely earned a beer for that one.
