That $12 paint sprayer from Harbor Freight I bought on a whim

Picked up the cheap purple Wagner sprayer for a fence job last month. Figured it'd clog after 10 minutes or just make a mess. Has anyone else had decent luck with bargain spray gear?

Oh man, that purple Wagner sprayer is a gamble for sure. Bought one years ago for a small fence job and honestly thought it would just spray paint everywhere except where I aimed. Surprisingly it did okay for the price point, not perfect but it got the job done without completely dying on me. The cleanup is what gets you though, gotta be really thorough or it'll clog next time for sure. Some of those cheap sprayers can work out if you keep your expectations low and don't push them too hard. Sounds like you might have gotten lucky with yours too.

Did you find the cleanup any easier after using mineral spirits versus just water?
