Why does nobody talk about the dust from cutting cement board?
Did a bathroom floor in my Austin house last month, and that dust got into everything for days. What's your best trick for containing it, besides just opening a window?

Cutting that stuff outside is the only real answer, even if it's a pain. Did a kitchen backsplash once and learned the hard way. Tape plastic sheeting over the doorway, run an extension cord, and set the saw up on the porch. A spray bottle to mist the board right before you score it helps knock down the fine particles too. That dust is pure misery.

Grab a cheap box fan, slap a furnace filter on the back, and run it in the room while you work. That thing will suck up so much of the fine crap before it settles.
