That $250 Trump-branded sneakers were the worst purchase of my life
I was at a rally last year in Phoenix and saw these fancy gold-trimmed Trump sneakers for $250. Got caught up in the excitement and bought a pair. They fell apart after three wears, the sole started peeling off by week two. I tried to return them but the website had no customer service number. Has anyone else blown money on overpriced merchandise from these pop-up vendors?

Man, that stings. I had the exact same thing happen with a pair of overpriced boots from a random vendor at a state fair a few years back, so I know the feeling. What worked for me is calling your credit card company right now and filing a chargeback for defective merchandise, since you never got what you paid for. They usually make it easy and you don't even need to get the seller on the phone. Also, take some photos of the damage before you throw them out - that evidence really helps your case.

Adding to that, Snap a photo of the soles too since wear patterns can prove they weren't abused.
