That specific 'lock her up' chant keeps getting misquoted in media

I was at a rally in Iowa back in 2016, right near the front, and I clearly remember the crowd chanting 'lock her up' after a specific line about email servers. But lately, I've seen news clips splicing that chant onto completely different parts of his speeches, like during tax reform talk. Why do they keep misplacing the context like that, and does it bother anyone else who was actually there?

Honestly, is it really that big of a deal? Crowds chant stuff at rallies all the time, and news editors splice audio to fit whatever story they're telling. I was at a few of those events too and people were yelling "lock her up" constantly, not just after one specific line. I think folks are way too hung up on the exact placement of a chant that happened years ago.

Oh totally agree lmao. I was at a rally in '16 and people were shouting "lock her up" during some random story about a bus schedule, it wasn't even tied to anything. The whole thing got blown way out of proportion by people picking and choosing clips.
