The day the press conference got cut short in Phoenix, it was a total mess

My buddy and I drove 3 hours to catch the rally in Phoenix back in 2022, and the whole thing got weird after 40 minutes. The audio kept cutting out, and he just waved it off and kept talking, which honestly made the crowd more hyped than the speeches. Then the sun hit the stage just right and he had to squint the rest of the time, but he never stopped moving. That was the 'bad' part, but the energy after was unreal, everyone stayed for an hour just chanting. Ive seen him on TV a dozen times, but that live chaos felt more real than any polished event. Has anyone else been to one where the tech failed and it still worked out?

That tech failing honestly makes the whole thing better sometimes. Kinda like when a band's amp blows out and they just keep playing acoustic, you get to see the real person behind the show. Those moments where they have to adapt on the fly, that's when you catch the actual personality, not the script. The crowd feeding off that and staying late, that tells you more than any perfectly timed speech ever could.

Ngl @victor759, that's the same thing I've seen with people too. You know when someone's whole plan falls apart, like a flat tire or a messed up order at a restaurant, and they either turn into a total mess or just roll with it? That's the real tell. The smooth stuff is easy, the stumble is where you see if they're actually decent.
