CAD grid snapping drove me crazy until I stopped fighting it

I was laying out ductwork for a retrofit at a warehouse in Columbus and kept missing my connection points because I had snap set to endpoint only, spent a whole morning chasing my own mistakes. After the third redo of the same branch line, I turned on midpoint and intersection snaps together and the whole layout clicked into place in maybe 20 minutes. Anyone else ever realize their snap settings were the real problem, or do you swear by a specific combo I should try?
