Switched from hand drawing to a plotter last year - huge difference in speed

I used to do all my drafting by hand for 8 years straight. Pencil, ruler, the whole deal. Then I got a cheap HP plotter off Craigslist for $150 and it cut my project time in half on a job for a kitchen remodel in Austin. Now I rough sketch the layout on paper, scan it, and blow it up in CAD before the final print. The plotter lines are way cleaner than anything I could do by hand. Has anyone else made the switch to a plotter and found it worth it?

And the precision is just unreal compared to hand drafting, I've been able to push way more complex designs since I switched.
