The day I stopped hand-calculating stair stringers after 15 years

Used to do all my stair math longhand with a construction calculator and a notepad. Took me about 20 minutes per set of stairs. Last month I finally caved and started using a stair app after the foreman said hey you got a phone right? Just plug the numbers in. It works fast, never had a goof yet. But I still keep my old notepad in the truck just in case. Anyone else find it hard to trust an app over what you learned the hard way?

Man I felt this in my bones, still got my old construction calculator stashed under the truck seat too.
