Vent: AutoCAD 2000 was peak drafting, everything since has been downhill
I used to burn through full floor plans on AutoCAD 2000 with zero crashes, but now Revit 2024 freezes every time I try to tag a door. Has anyone else noticed how much slower these new programs run compared to the old stuff?

You ever notice how half the new features in Revit are just bloatware nobody asked for? Old AutoCAD ran lean because Autodesk wasn't cramming in cloud crap and subscription tactics. What specific tasks did you do that made the 2000 version feel unbeatable?

Bloatware nobody asked for" nailed it. Just give me a drawing tool that draws, not a subscription to the cloud.
