Appreciation post: Finally got the old cutterhead on the '78 Mudcat singing again.
Swapped to a different grade of hydraulic oil after the manual said it wouldn't matter. The vibration dropped by half. Anyone know a good supplier for that specific 46-weight near Mobile?

Doubt the manual writers ever had to listen to that thing shake itself apart. Sometimes you just have to try the dumb fix and see what happens. Good find on the oil.
