Finally tried running the cutterhead at half speed in that sticky clay spot on the Mississippi and it actually worked

Half speed in sticky clay doesn't give enough torque, it'll just gum up faster.

Do you think running it dry for a few minutes first helps knock off the worst of the clay before slowing down? @mia_singh24 I've had the same problem with my old mixer and it's frustrating when it just turns into a stuck mess. I usually let it spin at full speed for a minute to clear the blades, then drop to half speed for the actual wedging.
