Dropped a full sheet of 5/8 on my foot at the Home Depot in Phoenix

I was loading up for a job last Tuesday and the forklift guy set a pallet down wrong. Whole stack tipped and one of them landed right on my boot. Toe is still purple but the sheet somehow didn't crack. Anybody else have a close call with drywall that turned out funny instead of a trip to urgent care?

The sheet somehow didn't crack" lol that's wild, I bet your toe absorbed all the impact instead. Man, 5/8 is no joke either, that stuff is basically a concrete pancake. Glad you didn't need urgent care though, that would've made for a way worse story and a lighter wallet. Your foot's probably gonna look like a weird Easter egg for a week but hey, at least the drywall survived the trip.

Are we really calling a purple toe a serious close call now? Purple toes happen from stubbing furniture. Not really "drywall almost killed me" material.
