In my experience, keeping your tape bucket close really helps.

Saw a video from a job site safety guy last week. He said the same thing. Tape bucket saves a lot of headaches when it's right there. @oliver_mitchell is right about that. People think they'll remember where they put it, but they never do. Just ends up wasting time walking back and forth.
