Rant: Homeowner watched me work for 3 hours without saying a word

Last week in Phoenix I was finishing out a garage and this guy just stood in the doorway staring at me the whole time. Didn't ask a question, just watched. Has anyone else dealt with people hovering while you're trying to tape and mud?

Did he at least offer you a bottle of water? Because if he's gonna stand there and watch you sweat through three hours of Phoenix heat, the least he could do is bring out some hydration. I had a lady in Scottsdale follow me from room to room while I was patching drywall, not saying a peep except to sigh every time I stopped to cut tape.

Man, that reminds me of my buddy Mike who had a guy follow him around with a stopwatch while he painted a fence in July.
