Still team hand tools for finishing corners - here's why I dumped the banjo
I spent 6 months using a banjo for inside corners on new builds and got so sick of cleaning the thing every 15 minutes. Switched back to a 6 inch knife and a hawk for the last 3 houses I did and I'm way faster plus zero cleanup headaches. Any other guys here ditch the automatic tapers for hand work on corners?

Cleaning the thing every 15 minutes" is a user issue, not a tool issue. I've run a banjo for years on production work and a quick wipe with a damp rag between corners takes 10 seconds, way less than the time you lose dragging a hawk around.
