Warning: My cordless screw gun battery died mid-job on a Friday afternoon
I was finishing a ceiling in a Phoenix remodel when my main Makita 18V just quit, and my backup was only half charged. Had to run to the supply house across town and lost two hours of work. What's your go-to plan for avoiding battery fails on big jobs?

What brand of backup battery do you trust?

Plotting against you? Come on, they're just batteries. My old one dies if I look at it wrong, but it's not a conspiracy. It's just a worn out piece of tech. I've never had one fail right before a big trip, they usually just get weak over time. Are you sure you're not just noticing it more because you're stressed about packing?

You ever feel like your tools just KNOW it's Friday? Mine seem to plot against me right before the weekend. I keep three batteries on the charger at all times now, because that two-hour trip is the worst.
