Got a $2,100 chargeback last month for a "broken" item someone took a hammer to. My store's profit margin is basically a single tear and a prayer at this point. Did you try fighting it with tracking numbers showing delivery or was it one of those cases where the bank just shrugs at you?

Used to think chargebacks were just part of the game, you know, like a tax on doing business online. Then I had a guy claim his $400 leather jacket arrived with a cigarette burn through it, sent a photo that was clearly from another listing. I fought it with the tracking showing delivered, the weight of the package matching the jacket, even my own security cam footage of me packing it. Bank still sided with him because the photo showed "damage upon arrival", didn't matter that the burn was shaped like a cartoon duck or that he'd been posting about "scamming Bezos's little helpers" on Twitter. That changed my mind real quick, now I'm convinced the system's broken and they just want you to give up.
